Assessment

WE MEASURE. Think of this phase like the lab work before your annual physical exam. Many critical factors impacting your physical health are revealed through this step. The same goes for your business and your organization. There are invisible forces governing your organizational health and ability to thrive that most often go undetected and unattended to by sheer inertia, busyness and conflict avoidance, among other things. We help you peer underneath the hood and look deeply at what’s been helping or hurting your ability to achieve goals and become the best versions of yourselves.

Awareness

WE REVEAL. Presenting and interpreting data of findings is critical to understanding “what we’re up against.” During this phase, our skilled and certified coaches and consultants disclose the results of the cutting-edge science-based assessments and what they mean to you and your organization. This “meaning-making” step iS one that’s often glossed over, but is tantamount to “the first day of the rest of your life.” Absent accurate and rational sense-making, our minds will default to defensiveness and play to our deeply-entrenched biases. Key thought: Awareness creates a choice.

Acceptance

The next step is yet another many CONSULTANTS AND COACHES tend to handle poorly: the resistance or denial stage. At Accelerated Breakthrough, we say DENIAL stands for Don’t Even know I Am Lying! Resistance is hard to deal with. It requires courage on the parts of both the consultant and the client. It requires not so much dealing with the logical data uncovered by the assessment, but rather the psychological opening shock experienced by those assessed. And – it requires unlearning. Unlearning can be scary, embarrassing and neurologically and physiologically taxing. We approach this step with compassion, curiosity, openness and empathic acknowledgment of our shared humanity. And we remind you of your goals – why you hired us in the first place!

Action

This is obviously MEETS THE ROAD. With you, we will craft a plan of action with milestones (POA&M). We will address the challenges these new goals and the unlearning process will inevitably bring and work with you to create a culture of trust, accountability and purposefulness that will buoy and fuel your efforts to success! Key thought: If Awareness creates a choice, Action (daily mindful practice) builds capacity!
